Season 01 reveal

This sequence is authored artwork, not captured gameplay.

Every route is a decision

Engage has no loadout that fixes a bad path. Three techniques chain into each other without a cooldown between them, and the whole skill ceiling sits in how you link them.

  1. Slide

Carry your sprint into a slide and keep it. Momentum is preserved through the whole animation, so the slide is a commitment, not a stop.

  2. Wallrun

Any surface steeper than sixty degrees is a floor for one and a half seconds. Wallruns re-arm the moment you touch a new surface, so long chains are a route problem rather than a timer problem.

  3. Mantle

Ledges resolve on contact at full speed. There is no grab animation to punish you and no height you can reach that an opponent cannot.

Six to start

Every operator is named for the way they move. Kits change the shape of a route. None of them change how fast you can take it.

  • Drift

    Recon

Pings the last three seconds of enemy movement instead of their current position.

  • Slipstream

    Duelist

Leaves a lane of moving air behind them; teammates who enter it inherit the speed.

  • Vault

    Breacher

Opens a one-way ledge in any breakable surface. It stays open for the round.

  • Tempo

    Controller

Sets a beat across a site. Movement on the beat is silent; movement off it is loud.

  • Surge

    Duelist

Banks the distance they travel and spends it as a single burst in any direction.

  • Glide

    Support

Revives at range by pulling a downed teammate along their own last route.

Sixty days, then it resets

Short enough that a bad start is survivable, long enough that the ladder means something by the end. Every season closes with the top of the ladder seeded into the tournament.

Days 1 to 10 Placement Days 11 to 50 Open ladder Days 51 to 60 Seeding review Day 60 Tournament
  1. Days 1 to 10 Placement
  2. Days 11 to 50 Open ladder
  3. Days 51 to 60 Seeding review
  4. Day 60 Tournament

Placement is ten matches

Your first ten matches of a season set your band. Nothing before day one carries over except your history, which staff can still see.

Seeding is earned in the last ten days

The closing window decides the bracket. Matches inside it are weighted heavier and reviewed more closely than any other point in the season.

The bracket is not an invitation

There is no wildcard slot and no partner seat. Every position in the tournament comes off the ladder.

Someone actually watches the tape

Automated detection catches what it recognises. It does not catch the player who is careful, and careful is exactly what a seeded player can afford to be. So Engage puts people on it.

  1. Flagged and top-ladder matches are pulled

Every match inside the seeding window at the top of the ladder is queued for review, alongside anything detection flags anywhere on the ladder.

  2. Staff watch the round back

A reviewer watches the recorded match from every angle, including the accused player's own view, with input timing alongside it.

  3. The decision is written down

Every review closes with a written verdict. Cleared, void, or removed. The player is told which, and why.
