A garden that stays
looked after.

We're a family-run gardening business. Fully insured, registered waste carrier, and honest about what your garden actually needs, whether that's a visit every fortnight or rescuing something that's got away from you.

Drag to see the difference

Most gardens we're called to aren't ruined. They've just had a busy year. Pull the handle across.

After: a wide lawn mown in clean stripes, edges cut, hedges clipped Before: dense brambles and bare whippy stems filling the whole garden

Two seasons of bramble taken out, ground cleared, lawn re-cut and kept on a fortnightly visit since.

Photography here is illustrative while we build our own portfolio. It shows the kind of work we do, not specific jobs.

Two ways to get us in

Most people start with one and end up with the other.

Regular

We come back

A visit every week, fortnight or month: whatever your garden actually needs, which is usually less than you fear. You don't need to be home. You don't need to remember to book. It just stays on top of itself.

  • Mowing, edging and lawn care
  • Hedges cut and shaped
  • Borders weeded, pruned and mulched
  • Seasonal cutting back and tidying
  • Everything cleared away when we leave

One-off

We get it back

Overgrown, abandoned, or just past the point where a Saturday would fix it. We clear it, cut it back, and take the whole lot away. Properly, as a registered waste carrier, not fly-tipped down a lane.

  • Overgrown garden clearance
  • Full tidy-ups before a sale or a let
  • Hard cutting back and reshaping
  • Green waste removed and disposed of legally
  • An honest view on what's worth saving
Ask about a clearance

A garden isn't a job. It's a year.

This is what we're doing and when. Right now we're in the part marked below.

  1. March – May

    Spring

First cuts of the year, beds turned and mulched, edges re-cut, everything woken up and given a shape to grow into.

  2. June – August

    Summer

The busy stretch. Regular mowing, hedges kept tight, watering and dead-heading so the garden peaks instead of bolting.

  3. September – November

    Autumn

Cutting back, leaf clearance, the last hedge cut, and the tidy that decides how rough next spring is going to be.

  4. December – February

    Winter

The quiet, useful months. Structural pruning, clearance work, repairs and the big jobs there's no time for in June.

You're letting someone into your garden

That's the real decision, and it deserves a straight answer rather than a badge.

We're fully insured
If something gets damaged while we're working (a pane, a fence, a car on the drive) you're covered. Ask to see the certificate and we'll send it before we start.
We're a registered waste carrier
Everything we cut is taken away and disposed of legally. That matters more than it sounds: if a garden's waste is fly-tipped, it's traced back to the householder, not the gardener.
We're family-run
The same people come back each time. You'll know who's in your garden, and they'll know your garden: which hedge you like tight and which corner you want left for the birds.

How it goes

  1. You get in touch

Call, or send the form below with a couple of photos if it's easier than describing it.

  2. We come and look

Free, no pressure, and no obligation to book. We'd rather see a garden than guess at it.

  3. You get a fixed price

Written down, itemised, with waste removal included. No hourly creep, no surprises at the end.

  4. We start, and we keep coming

Or we don't. A one-off stays a one-off if that's all you wanted, with no contract to get out of.

Straight answers

We don't publish prices, because every garden is a different size, a different state and a different amount of waste. What we will do is come and look, then give you one fixed figure in writing before anything starts.

No. Plenty of our work is a single clearance and nothing more. If you do want us back, it's an arrangement rather than a contract. You can stop it with a phone call.

Only for the first visit, so we can meet you and agree what's what. After that most of our customers are at work while we're there. We lock up behind us and send a message when we've finished.

It goes with us. We're a registered waste carrier, so green waste is taken to a licensed site and disposed of properly. It's included in the price, and you'll never be asked to deal with a pile at the end.

It really isn't. Gardens get away from people — after an illness, a birth, a bereavement, or just a hard year. We've seen worse than yours this month and we won't make a thing of it.

Let's have a look at it

Tell us roughly what you're dealing with. We'll come out, look properly, and give you a price, with no obligation to take it.
